Fortunate

Here I am again.

I don't understand how all of a sudden in the last few months, after years of driving with little-to-no incident, I've received a speeding ticket (which I still think was issued in error), was mildly rear-ended by a girl who didn't have her purse and therefore didn't have her insurance card and didn't seem to know who her insurance was with (no damage to either car), and now this. It's gotta be the fortune because two out of three were not my fault in any way (and since I feel it is unlikely that I was going 48mph in a 30mph zone in afternoon traffic without noticing, that ticket probably wasn't my fault either). Luck usually has to do with things you can't really control, right?

Hmmm...unless...as I believe the traffic violation occurred before I got the fortune, it doesn't count. Perhaps if my luck hadn't changed that fateful day, there would have been more damage in both collisions and I would have been injured. Perhaps my luck has actually changed for the better and I just need to look at it a different way.

But hmm...I think the rear-ending happened pre-fortune as well. Now I want to know when I got that fortune! Intriguing!
