I think I have cat ears. I can hear a kitten crying from a mile away. Seems that our across-the-street-neighbors found a kitten...or, more accurately, a kitten found our neighbors. It was crying off and on all last night and I went out to look for it (stupid me) and it sounded like it was on their enclosed porch. This morning, through the open dining room windows, I overheard the neighbor telling her granddaughter's friends that she was going to look in the paper for any lost kitten notices. Right. I think she is now the owner of a kitten. Thank goodness it wasn't on OUR porch! No. More. Kittens.
Speaking of kittens, I spent $168 at the vet Saturday because Arthur woke me up at 6:30am by barfing and crapping all over the house. Joy. Plus, I found fleas. So, exam + antibiotics + flea stuff = lots.
The crazy spider is back on our porch, but I don't think it's the same kind of spider as last year (which Brian named Tharboule). This one (Tharboule II) is darker brown and less red.
Neil got a Pocket PC to take on the road with him. It has wireless and bluetooth and all the bells and whistles. It's pretty swanky and I'm jealous of it. Me like toys.
