I forgot that I mentioned my car a few posts ago. Well, I got it back. It cost $422 and has a new exhaust system and a bunch of new bits under the hood. It runs much better now and hasn't nearly stalled on me yet, even in the rain. It's still a little rough, but it is nine years old. Besides having the brakes worked on and general routine maintenance, this is the first major mechanical repair it has had. It's a good car.
It doesn't keep me from dreaming about owning a Prius, though.
