I feel like I need an extra day off to recover from the weekend. I got a LOT done...none of it all that much fun. Just chores and errands and stuff -- mostly laundry and vacuuming and bathroom scrubbing and dish washing - all very much needed.
I had intended to take my new sewing machine out of the box yesterday and at least learn how to thread it, but everything else took so darn long I didn't get around to it. Evidently it's making me feel guilty because I had a dream about the sewing machine last night. In my dream I had finally given it a test drive and something distracted me and I ended up screwing it all up. The thread got all bungled up in the bobbin and I was making these totally weird and useless knot-like stitches. Anyhow, I need to get it out of the box soon.
Neil is in WI for shows of IHAS (with Pat). They had a run-through/dress rehearsal on Saturday which went very very well. Neil was so pooped Friday and Saturday nights that he crashed before 10pm. They'll be in Chicago on Neil's birthday...I wish I could be there!
Random: Last night, on Family Guy, Peter was dressed as a clown named "Mr. Pee Pants" and that made me very happy.
News: Erik and Kathy are officially engaged.
