It really does. July. Hot and humid. Barf barf. I just went on a fifteen-minute walk around the outside track and I'm positively dripping with sweaty goodness. Ick.
Ever since that thunderstorm woke me up at 2am, I have been waking up between 2-2:30am nearly every night. I hate when I get into that sort of cycle of insomnia. It's not really insomnia, I suppose...rather a certain restlessness. Whatever you want to call it, it's annoying.
I'm going to start teaching a friend how to make a quilt this week and I'm really excited.
By the way, the daffodils blossomed almost exactly when I predicted they would. Instead of blooming that evening, they were open the next morning. They're super cute and cheerful.
My hands are feeling pretty crap today. Discouraging. And yet here I am, typing away.... I wish I had something more interesting to post about.
I went to the dentist yesterday. No cavities. My teeth feel all clean and slippery. Hoorah!
