Insanity on a stick

The last month or so has been so insanely busy and exhausting.

• My parents came out here for Thanksgiving, which was great, though my dad's medicines weren't quite right yet and he wasn't feeling too great. It seems that they've leveled out now and he's doing MUCH better, so hoorah for that!
• I got a new car. It looks a whole lot like this:

• I got my chipped tooth filed down and now it feels really funny because it's shorter than it once was.
• I got my hair cut (finally!)
• Penny is suffering from her annual bladder problem and is peeing constantly. She has been locked in the bathroom for a week now and she isn't liking it anymore. This situation is unfortunate because
• We are driving to NY tomorrow...with the cats. Therefore we need to fashion some sort of large box that can accommodate a cat and a small litter box which will fit in the back seat of my new car and NOT leak cat pee onto the seats.

On top of those big things, it is the end of the semester so there's a little extra insanity thrown in there. Plus birthday parties, holiday parties and lots and lots of errands involving present buying. And wrapping. And sending of packages.

We didn't even have time to put up our Christmas tree or outside lights. Neil has been way too busy to even think about doing that sort of stuff. The house is a disaster area. I don't know where the time has gone, but it sure can go! We're ready for a vacation.
