Statue of Liberty

I meant to put this on the blog months ago, maybe even a year ago, but kept forgetting. I'm cleaning out the pile of random stuff on the desk which includes the scrap of paper this is written upon, so now is the time.

I was sitting in the allergist's office waiting area and I overheard the following said by two older men wearing overalls and John Deere caps:

What they should do is take down the Statue of Liberty and put up a big Aunt Jemima holding a big platter of pancakes. Welcome them, ya know?

Though I'm not sure exactly what they were talking about, I really like that image.
