Halloween

I discovered that Halloween in a kid-friendly, residential neighborhood sets off three of my somewhat irrational phobias:

1. answering the door for strangers
2. people in costume
3. small children

We had a great time nonetheless. Our house was a huge mess. The carved pumpkins look fantastic on our porch.
