So much maintenance

I've always been a pretty maintenance-free person...but now I've accumulated all these things to do to keep myself and my life running.

Besides doing the usual morning bathing routine, I now have to medicate myself and my cat...and that takes forever. I've got these antibiotic eye drops (4 times a day) for a weird eye problem that is quite bothersone. Then I've got the rhinocort nasal spray for the sinusitis. Add to that having to eat breakfast and swallowing down all the random vitamins to keep me big and strong. THEN I've got to medicate the cat - who now has two pills twice a day (it's a good thing she's such a good girl about taking those pills now. Phew!)

After work it's dinner, dishes, pill the cat again. Then exercises for my poor back and arms (it takes about 45 minutes to an hour). Saline sinus rinse (a miraculous thing!) and brushy brushy (teeth & face) before bedtime. If I remember, I have to make a lunch for the next day.

What happened to the days where I got up, took a shower, ate breakfast, went to work, came home, made dinner, watched a movie and went to bed?

Anyhow, my original thought for writing this post wasn't to give you a rundown of my routine or to complain about all I have to do. It was actually to tell you how silly I feel squirting stuff in my eyes and up my nose at work because I keep getting up too late to do it before I leave home. Maybe I should just keep the cat at work too.
