Welcome back to southern Indiana, baby!
*edited to add: And of course, now the northeast is hotter than we are. This poor earth.*
We attended our first same-sex marriage on May 31 (in Massachusetts) and it was awesome. Lots of music and dancing and good friends. Neil killed disco.

We went to Yankee Candle and got headaches because it was so smelly. Neil pretended to play the tiny Christmas ornament instruments and we took pictures. The place wasn't the wonderland it was advertised to be, but it certainly was colorful...and smelly.

We saw the new Indiana Jones movie in a digital theater - pretty cool!
I organized a ton of my parents' photographs and put them in acid-free boxes and envelopes (quite the project).
My parents got a cat from the local shelter. She has been hiding under the bed all week because the dogs chased her. She's 1.5 years old and very pretty, but was probably abused somehow because she is pretty skittish about being approached. She has no tail. Her name is Rosie.

I had a tick on me. Actually I found three ticks crawling on me over the course of the vacation and the fourth actually bit me. We had to buy tweezers at 11pm on the way to Cleveland (go Flying J!). It was tiny and easy to remove. No signs of Lyme's disease yet. Phew!
