December 23 drove to Chicago: Mom's birthday dinner at Thai Pastry; cold, rainy, and windy walk...but worth it!
December 24 Chris and Laura arrived; met them at Art Institute (free admission on Christmas Eve!); saw the Thorne Miniature Rooms, Sunday in the Park, and best of all, the Victorian photo collages; ate dinner at taco place; Hung out at Borders until...; Christmas Eve service at Fourth Presbyterian Church; drove back with Spencer (Cat Blob is My Co-Pilot); Spencer fell and hurt shoulder.
December 25 Christmas at Erik and Kathy's; long day with dinner happening late.
December 26 shopping at Macy's; Chris & Laura to Hampton Inn (where Neil decided to clean all our belongings in the dishwasher); Dinner at Thai place (?)

December 29 Ikea! Where Dad found his long-lost twin:
December 30 Trip to Skokie (Spencer's most favoritest place) to return something to L.L.Bean.
December 31 Dexter with Spencer and Andrew; New Year's at Andrew's: silly whistle concert.
January 1 We were going to leave before five, ended up watching Dexter with Spencer and Andrew until about 10 PM; got home around 4:30am. Sheesh.
