Shopping

Mom and I went grocery shopping yesterday. We almost needed two carts, but we got it done in about an hour. Though there are a few things missing...gotta find cranberries!

A big mob of us went to Thai Chow last night for Mom's early birthday. Yum! As Rudi said, she really "lit up" the green curry. It was extremely hot...for me at least. I was so red. I'm surprised I slept as well as I did - usually if I eat something hot like that, I don't sleep very well. But not last night!

After Thai Chow, everyone came over for ice cream. Rudi wanted to see the original Nintendo on the new TV. So big and bright. Almost too big and bright...and hilarious. Ah, novelty.

Erik is here. Neil's folks and the dogs/puppies arrive this evening. I am feeling surprisingly calm. Neil's throat started hurting horribly last night so we went out at 10:30pm to get his antibiotic prescription filled. Hopefully that will knock whatever this is out of his system. He's been sick for too long.
